About Me
We are a lively family of four with two cats and four chickens, living in a rural area but with easy access to towns and cities. We are looking for an au pair/Babysitter to care for our two children, a 10-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl, while the mother works.
We want someone who will become part of our family and take part in family life. In return, you will receive a warm welcome and caring home.
Dad works overseas but joins in family life and helps out when he is home.
My Requirements
Our schedule varies daily, so the role will include getting the children ready for school/activities and taking them to school, having the day off until pick-up, supervising after-school activities, preparing dinner, helping with homework, listening to reading, playing with the children, and getting them ready for bed.
Mum will need help around 1-2 Saturday and Sunday's a month when Dad isn't home. The rest of the time is your own.
Mum is 'On Call' with work overnight for a whole week, every other week, call outs are extremely rare, however, Mum would like to know that you are home in case she needs to leave when Dad is not home.
The children can be very self sufficient so we would like someone who is happy to have a quick tidy around the house, and be a part of homelife.
During the school holidays, the schedule will significantly vary and we can discuss how this will work.
