About Me
My name is Hattie, I am a 30 year old designer / art teacher living in Southsea. I am currently working as a designer on a freelance basis, which means I can offer very flexible hours and am able to work at short notice.
I have recently returned from 2.5 years living in Vietnam, where I was a form teacher for grades 3-5 in a Korean International School, offering emotional and developmental support to second language students alongside their education.
While I was there I also taught art for kindergarten through to grade 11 (where I learnt that I'm really bad at origami...) and offered private tutoring for all ages from kindergarten through to adults. I am still teaching some of them through zoom from the UK, as they didn't want to stop!
I enjoy using my creative skills to make fun, engaging activities, and am comfortable with kids of all ages. If your child needs extra support with school work, I am happy to discuss options for combining private tutoring with nannying.
I am fully vaccinated and have a clear DBS certificate.
