About Me
I am Joy, married and a mum of 2 . We are a very happy family. I have so many years experience looking after children even before I became a mum. I derive joy in caring for children, teaching them, learning with them and seeing them thrive and grow healthy in a happy environment.

I have gained experience in caring for other people's children both paid and unpaid and I have so many positive feedbacks and results from my caring nature.
I have been a positive role model to so many children in the past and currently. Children are always happy to be around me.

I am a master degree holder with my first degree being biomedical science. I have also completed care certificate with numerous trainings.
My Availability
Day and overnight care. Flexible with parents need, I understand the nature of shift workers because I have been there before so I am willing to support as much as I can.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Joy and the childcare she provides! We were in a bind and needed someone last minute, and she graciously took in my kids without hesitation. From the moment we walked in, I was struck by how warm and welcoming Joy is . Her space is clean, safe, and truly feels like a home away from home.
Joy is incredibly flexible, which has been a lifesaver for us. She’s always accommodating, even with our changing schedules, and her reliability gives me such peace of mind. Her compassion shines through in how she interacts with the kids — they absolutely love spending time with her and always come home happy and well cared for.
It’s not easy finding someone you can trust with your children, but with Joy, I know they’re in the best hands possible. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to write us a review, we really appreciate.
I was looking for a childminder in the area close to my home and work. I came across JokiGem on childcare website and I must say that she is so pleasant with my son. He has blend in so well to the point that he forget that I'm there to pick him up. With my son at JokiGems nursery, I have peace of mind that he is safe and well looked after. Her home environment is clean and safe for children.
Everyday is not the same at JokiGems. My son will start chatting with me from when we leave. She engages all the children, takes them to the soft play area, library.
She works with professionalism and high standard, giving me daily report of what was done each day.

Jokigem applies professionalism and also has empathy for parents of all kinds. Her setting is well thought through allowing kids to blend learning and social activities. She is very warm with kids, and my daughter finds it hard to leave the place to home. I was particularly surprised at the rate of how quickly my daughter adapted to her place and was also looking forward to going back to Jokigem. I have a happy child thanks to Jokigem and recommend her to anyone looking to have a safe and professional childminder for their children. Thanks, Jokigem, for your support to my family.
