Hi my name is Jemma I am a fully qualified childminder, I have been an ofsted registered childminder for over 11 years and have many years experiance working in local day nurseries previous. I am married and I have two sons aged 11 and 7. I am a very fun and friendly person, Who welcomes any children into our home as a family I provide a homely environment that children can feel safe and secure.
My before and after school runs are Lyndon Green school and Garrett's Green nursery.
My Experience
I had been working in local nurseries since I left school and did this for 7 years. I became a child minder after having my first son in 2011. I have very good knowledge of the early years foundation stage (EYFS) which I will impliment in my day to day practice. I have also had pediatric first aid, safegaurding and food safety training which I refresh every 3 years. I have worked with children age ranging from 4 months to teens and have experiance with newborn babies from caring for my own boys. My house is a safe, warm and caring environment for children to Play, learn and grow. We also attend local playgroups, go on outings to parks and farms, trips to the library for story time, soft play and lots more.
British sign language level 2 trained.
Previous work with SEN.
My Qualifications
NVQ In childcare level 2 and 3.
Level 2 in BSL
Pediatric first aid training.
Designated person safegaurding training.
Food safety training.
Ofsted registered.
Full insurance.
In my recent Ofsted inspection (October 2019) I was graded a Good in all areas and over all.
My Availability
I have two full/part time spaces available from September 2023
I also offer the government 15 or 30 hour funding for 2, 3 & 4 years old that are eligible.
