About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with professional experience of looking after children for the past 25 years. I provide a setting where children are supported to have fun, grow and develop. I am passionate about offering a home from home environment that is caring and nurturing to each child’s needs. I have looked after children from 6 months to 12 years old. I also have two children of my own, now 28 and 25.
I am Paediatric First Aid qualified offering a clean, loving, safe and stimulating environment for your child. I have also completed a NVQ level 3 diploma in home-based childcare. I was graded ‘good’ by OFSTED during my last inspection. I am a member of the local childminding network and keep up to date with local knowledge and events.
I understand that leaving your child is difficult and I will endeavour to make that process as easy for you and your child as possible. I understand the importance of building good relationships with parents and communication being key.
I take regular visits to parks, libraries and playgroups on a weekly basis. I provide a variety of activities to improve children's learning and development. I arrange all activities to meet a child's age, ability and interests.
I work Monday to Friday, 7:30am til 6pm. I offer full and part time spaces. I am accredited with my Local Authority to provide funded education for eligible children 9 months, 2 years, 3 years and 4 years. I am also registered to take payments through childcare vouchers and tax free accounts.
My Experience
My experience involves dealing with children with special needs and I have looked after children from newborns to 12 years. All these children have come from different backgrounds and cultures.

Safeguarding Children Certificate
Child Protection Cerificate
Early Years Foundation Stage
Graded ‘good’ by OFSTED in 2022.
For my ongoing professional development I reguarly attend training on childcare.
My Availability
I am available from 7:30am to 6 pm but these hours are flexible. I pick up from local schools in the Hayes area.

Also offer sibling rates.
I have my own car so im available for drop off and pick ups from schools in the hayes and hillingdon area.

Evelyn is not just my daughter's childminder—she is a true friend, a guiding presence, and a pillar of our village. I often say you are the mother I pay, but in truth, your care, love, and support are priceless.
For over five years, Evelyn has been a constant source of comfort, not just for my daughter, who absolutely adores you, but for me as well. Being a working parent comes with its challenges, and balancing work, studies, and an ever-changing schedule has not been easy. But through it all, you have been there, making this journey so much lighter and easing my guilt along the way.
They say it takes a village to raise a child, Evelyn is such an integral part of ours. There aren’t enough words or thank-yous in the world to truly express how grateful we are for the incredible job you do every single day.

Evelyn is truly Amazing. She immediately reached out to me and had an interview and trial day by the end of the week. Evelyn is so kind and really committed to delivering the best and funnest time for my daughter. Everyday , my daughter came back home with a smile.
My daughter was there for a few weeks, but she loved every moment.
I highly recommend Evelyn. She’s one in a million.

Evelyn has been just an amazing childminder for our 20month old daughter. Was available on short notice, genuinely cared for our daughter. She also has such a lovely a bubbly personality making even us as parents more than welcome in her home.
Would definitely recommend her to anyone.

My daughter has had 3 childminders including Evelyn and in her words
"she is the best childminder ever"
Evelyn provides a loving safe enviroment for children and it feels exactly like a family home should. I know my children are well cared for and very well looked after.
You can tell that Evelyn genuinelly loves what she does and it is all for the children nothing to do with the money.
My 2 year old son does not often warm to people but loves not only Evelyn but her whole family. They have more or less grown to be more of an extended family to myself and my 2 young ones rather then a childcare provider. Any child or family would be lucky to have such an amaxing woman as a childminder she is one in a million and i am blessed that my children have such a wonderful childminder.

My son currently has a full time placement with evelyn and after only 6weeks + he has grown in self confidence , happy content and just loves Evelyn to pieces. Evelyn has made taking on a new job do easy as i feel so confident that my 17month old is well cared for!! He gets fresh home cooked meals and is tteated as Evelyns own. My son adores her children and her little very well behaved dog, they are best friends :) i would highly recommend Evelyn in all ways she is flexible , fun and just all round lovely im glad weve found her. What more could a mum want . Thank you Evelyn.

Evelyn looked after my daughter for four years, during her time with Evelyn she was very happy and they was not a day when she did not want to go. Evelyn treated my daughter just as if she was her own child. My daughter enjoyed all the activities she did with Evelyn. Evelyn is very loving, generous, has a brilliant sense of humour and the way she communicates with the children is fantastic. The children also know that there are boundaries. I was very lucky to find Evelyn I am gutted that we moved to far for her to continue to look after my daughter. Please make Evelyn your first call as if she has a space for child(ren) you will not be disappointment with the care your child(ren) will receive.

Evelyn has been a full time nanny to our 2 children, aged 1 and 4, for the past 9 months. She knows everything there is to know about looking after children and takes everything in her stride, from tantrums to illnesses. She is also a very warm, friendly and generous person who is easy to get along with. We're very sorry that she's decided to leave us to go back to childminding: we will all miss her.
