About Me

Hello! I’m based in BR1 (Bromley) and looking for a housekeeper/live-out mother’s help for 2-3 days a week (can be flexible regarding which days every week), around 6 hours a day, starting asap, for my 4 year-old boy and my soon to be 6 year-old girl who both attend primary school near home.

I need help with the after-school pickup, taking the kids to their after-school clubs, cleaning at home (dusting, hoovering, mopping), organising (of clothes, toys, books and notes), tidying, laundry (loading, hanging, ironing and folding), list creation and household stock maintenance, cooking occasional hot meals following a recipe and ad hoc household chores such as ordering the weekly food shop online. Not everything has to be done in one session, but what needs to be felt is that you are making a difference and doing the things that come across to you as a high priority each day e.g. if the laundry basket is piling up and there’s lots of dry laundry, it would be great to do that before lower priority tasks. Or if you observe that the fridge is getting empty, that could be a sign to work together to put together a food shopping list and figure out what could be cooked for dinner.

This role is collaborative and requires someone proactive, confident, practical, creative — someone who has possibly been through motherhood with their own children whilst working would be a big benefit!). We would love for you to be genuinely passionate about finding ways to make family life easier and more efficient.

I work from home most days in an intense city job and require someone who is able to pick up the house & childcare jobs that I’m currently able to do on my own at 80% and make it 100%! We are a kind, friendly and open family — we love music, dance, singing, art and positivity and have great relationships with our former nannies.

I’m looking for someone stable and reliable who does not require excessive handholding and is also open to feedback. We would also be open to the occasional babysitting some weekday evenings and weekends to squeeze in date nights and maintain a social life with friends.
