About Me

Childcare has always been my passion; I feel this has stemmed from a natural ability to understand and connect with children. I studied in college and gained a level 3 in childcare. When leaving college I worked in a nursery for 6 months but was quick to decide that I wanted to gain more self confidence before I worked with children and I feel they should have a confident and happy nanny. So I then decided to broaden my skill set and moved over to hospitality where I progressed quickly and soon became a store manager of a Starbucks store in Birmingham.
This roll over the last few years has definitely provided me with more life experience and confidence. I definitely came to see over those years that I thoroughly enjoyed working with children and was ready to re-join this career. I knew I was relocating to London so I thought it was important to get a bit more experience before I moved to become a full time Nanny. I started working as a part time nanny and dropped down to part time at Starbucks. I looked after two girls aged 7 & 9 (please find what my duties included in my CV). I then moved to London in December 2021 and started working full time with a lovely family of 5, with 3 boys aged 4, 6 & 8. In September 2022 I had to leave my current job due to them no longer needing a full time nanny so I started a new job looking after 3 children ages 4G, 7B & 9G I have been in this role nearly 2 years now and I have loved every second of it. The family are unfortunately moving to Switzerland in July and I will be moving back to West Midlands so am now looking for another full time position in either Birmingham or Leamington Spa.
