About Me
I am a qualified teacher and have been working in childcare for over 25 years. My aim is to provide Montessori inspired high quality, warm and friendly, child centred care for babies and children. I offer flexible hours to suit your work schedule. I have a good sized garden, a cat and a dog. I also have a playroom on the top floor of the house, which is perfect to keep little ones busy during rainy days. Activities include puppet shows, singing and signing, arts and crafts, play dough, baking, dressing up, role play as well as spending lots of time outside playing on the trampoline or going to the park. My Experience
I have been looking after children for the past 25 years including my onw 3, who are now have or about to fly the nest. I teach baby sing language, have SEN experience.
My Qualifications
I have a Qualified Teacher Status, First Aid and Safeguarding certificates, and Baby signing certificate.
My Availability
Monday- Thursday however, I am fully booked until September 2025.

Our little boy has been with Mimi from 10 months old. From the first visit we had to look around there was an instant connection- we could tell her passion for the children in her care.
We could not be happier with the care and support she provides. We love that the children spent lots of time outdoors-in the garden or the park.
Mimi will always offer advise and guidance to encourage learning and development.
Our little boy is always happy to get to Mimi’s house, and to see his friends!

Mimi is a fabulous option for your childcare. My two boys are well looked after and always have an enjoyable day, whatever the weather. As would be expected from a childminder, Mimi is thoughtful, caring and loves the children but importantly she is pragmatic, understanding and extremely experienced. Mimi offers advice, takes time to develop and engage each child and is really loving. My boys enjoy the large outdoor space, singing, signing and creative activities. They have come on leaps and bounds at Miles of Smiles and we will be forever grateful. Thank you Mimi x

We could not be happier, we send mimi our two boys and our daughters in school holidays. She is very good and nothing phases her. My sons are both very happy to see her in the morning and the communication is great

Mimi provided excellent childminding care for our young daughter. She was very professional, kind and accommodating. Our daughter enjoyed her time with Mimi and was always happy to go to her. I would highly recommend her childminding services.
