My name is Thalia, I come from Peru. I came to London in 2007 to improve my English and since then I have been working as a nanny and babysitter with many families in London. After having my own children throughout the years. I started a wonderful journey as a Montessori Teacher Assistant following the EYFS in 3 nurseries settings in London since 2021. I am a trustworthy, reliable, organised and dedicated professional in childcare. As an Educator it’s very important to provide a happy, safe and nurturing environment for the children under my care for their wellbeing and development, providing the highest standard of childcare, I love working with children where they learn through playing. I love cooking, baking, reading stories , arts and crafts, singing and dancing with the children. In my free time I love spending time with my daughters, going to the gym, keeping myself fit and healthy, reading self development and motivational books, I also love learning new languages, Spanish is my mother tongue language but I can also speak some Italian, Portuguese and Albanian.
My Experience
I have experienced looking after new born babies, toddlers, and young children on a sole charge and share charge. I start weaning babies from 6 months old by slowly introducing solid food and gradually reducing milk, I help with sleep routines, I help toddlers and parents with potty training, I teach the children the numbers, colours, the sounds of vowels and consonants, blending words with phonic. As a nanny I put into practice my Montessori training skills with the children where they become very independent and successful.

AMI Montessori Assistant Certificate, food allergens certificate, food safety certificate, paediatric first aid certificate, safeguarding certificate, health and safety certificate and clean DBS certificate.
My Availability
I am looking for a full time nanny position ( ideally in South West London but not necessarily) Either Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday . I am currently working part-time for a family in Barnes on Mondays and Wednesdays until I find a new full time position.
