About Me
I am looking for extra work in summer holidays. I’d love to nanny for a family local to Chingford or Finchley. In particular: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays but I can be flexible. I can reduce my rates if there’s an option to bring my 15 month old daughter with. She comes with me to some tutoring and equine therapy sessions so is used to sharing mummy and loved to play with other children (I have emergency back up childcare if needed).
I am a private tutor (and qualified integrative arts counsellor) who specialises in helping children with SEN such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH, behaviour and sensory needs as well as home education.
I can also facilitate learning sessions with my therapy ponies at their stables in North London.
I have over 10 years experience of looking after and working with children from young babies to older teens. I have a lot of experience with children with disabilities and additional needs including challenging behaviour and mental health needs.
I am mum to one year old little girl!
My Experience
I have worked as a private tutor for the past 3 years, working specifically with children who are unable to cope with being in school.
I have worked in crèches, schools, child mental health units, playgroups for children with disabilities and riding schools. I was a nanny for three years for an amazing family and have babysat for dozens of lovely families over the last 10 years. I was a nanny for a family with 3 children for 2 years - can provide excellent references.
My Qualifications
I have a BSc in Psychology from Sussex University.
I have a diploma in Child and Adolescent Counselling from the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education and I am registered with the BACP.
I have a diploma in Equine Facilitated Learning and Therapy from Horse Haven UK.
My Availability
I am available in the mornings and some afternoons. I have extra availability over the summer holidays.
