About Me
Please note that I am not a babysitter or childminder. I am a highly experienced tutoring consultant and child development psychologist with 25+ years experience tutoring children from 5 to 15 years of age - this includes 10 years experience as the principal of a group of pre-prep/prep schools. As a developmental psychologist I am also able to undertake standardised tests to assess your child's current strengths and weaknesses. Based on the results of the tests and my overall assessment, I can supply parents with a short report on how their child compares to the National Average for children of the same age. This enables me to tailor your child's tutoring activities to suit their specific needs, personality and the way in which they are processing information for learning. My specialist areas include: Dyslexia/Dyscalculia, 11 plus/Common Entrance examinations (I have successfully prepared children for many of the top London schools), plus Stress Management and Confidence Building for interviews, pre-exam nerves and general anxiety. Specialist subjects: Creative Writing (I am also a published author who has run Creative Writing Master Classes for children), Other subjects: English Language and English Literature tutoring and exam preparation (from 5-15 years for pre-prep, prep, SATS, 11 plus, Common Entrance, GCSE (AQA and IGCSE boards). Maths tutoring and exam preparation from 5 years up to 11+/Common Entrance. . I have many years experience building confidence and skills for children with dyslexia, dyscalculia including my own personal experience as a mother whose own child was severely dyslexic and subsequently overcame many of the difficulties to attain a university degree and go on to have a highly successful career. I hold qualifications in psychology and management studies plus many natural health qualifications. I am DBS checked and can provide references from the parents of children I have successfully tutored for many years.
My Experience
I have many years experience as a developmental psychologist, tutor and natural health practioner. During the 10 years I spent as the principal of a group of pre-prep/prep schools, I developed an innovative educational curriculum that fostered an enthusiastic love of learning in the children. The schools and my successful innovative approach were frequently featured on national and international television, radio programmes, national newspapers and parents' magazines. As a natural health practitioner (with over 30 years experience), I have worked with children and adults helping them to improve their physical and mental health. I have many years experience helping children and adults overcome the effects of stress and anxiety and gain a more positive and confident attitude. I have worked as a educational consultant and assessor for leading tutoring organisations in London and for clients in Dubai. I have many years experience tutoring children throughout the world, using a range of online platforms. I currently work as an educational consultant, stress management therapist. I also work as a content writer for educational and natural health websites, and am a published author of children's story books.

BSc(hons) Developmental Psychology, Postgraduate DMS in Management Studies, Diploma in Stress Management Therapy, Diploma in Natural Medicine, Reiki Energy Practitioner.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £60.00 per hour
Fees vary from £60 per hourly session depending upon specific tutoring requirements. Small group tutoring is also available for Creative writing development. Standardised Tests/Assessments can be undertaken on a one off basis or as part of ongoing tutoring.
