Fabulous Childminder - Highly Recommended

Jackie has been looking after my daughter for nearly 2 years and in my opinion, she is a first class childminder.

Having two older children who were both looked after by childminders too, I can honestly say Jackie is the best I have come across. The level and quality of care is fantastic and my daughter absolutely loves spending time there.

Jackie provides a safe, kind and stimulating environment that has allowed my daughter to thrive whilst enjoying the benefits of spending her time in a family home environment. I would highly recommend Jackie as a childminder, she’s brilliant!

Wonderful childminder

Jackie looked after my 2 year old for just under a year. The setting is wonderful and spacious with a lovely garden. I had never left my first child until she went to preschool so was very anxious leaving my youngest and choosing a setting had been difficult, but jackie was warm, welcoming and professional from the very first meeting. My daughter settled very well and enjoyed the variety of activities on offer from crafts, reading, den building and small world play at home to days out to the library and music classes! I liked that Jackie undertook activities we would have been doing as a family. I felt very happy in the knowledge that my daughter was safe, content and learning with Jackie. Communication was always good, I loved our doorstep catch ups even though I knew Jackie was busy she always made time for me. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jackie for those seeking outstanding childcare in Maidenhead.

Excellent Childminder

Jackie is an exceptional childminder & provides a safe, happy, caring & creative environment for children with lots of learning opportunities in addition. My daughter has been with Jackie for almost a year & loves the wide range of activities that Jackie does with the children, whether it’s music group, crafting, visiting the library, having a teddy bears picnic, visiting Windsor Castle or playing with the dressing up clothes at Jackie’s house, my daughter always comes home with a smile on her face & a great story about what she has done that day.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jackie - she is an exceptional childminder & has a great way of making children feel at home, happy & cared for. And as a parent I have peace of mind that while I’m at work my daughter will be in safe hands & she will have lots & lots of fun!

A wonderful childminder - highly recommended

I was initially hesitant about selecting a childminder through a website, without a personal recommendation, but nonetheless I visited several in the Maidenhead area who I found on childcare.co.uk. When I met Jackie, I immediately got the sense that she was warm, calm and provided wonderful loving care for the children she looked after – I could see that she had formed a very strong bond with a little boy who was there that day.

I am so pleased that I chose Jackie to look after Arthur for me. He settled in really quickly and in the ten months he has been in her care he has become such a confident, chatty, happy little man. They go out and do activities or visits most days, and on other days they do "messy play" at home or play in her lovely big garden full of toys. Her two school-age children are very polite and friendly and make a real effort to play with Arthur – he adores them and I really feel that he has become a part of their extended family. I am genuinely sad to be taking him out of her care, as I know that he will really miss them all, but as I am going on maternity leave again I will no longer require childcare.

The occasions which Jackie has been unable to look after Arthur due to illness or one-off unplanned events have been rare, and she always gives plenty of notice of planned holidays. When it comes to my requests I've always found her to be flexible and accommodating where she can.

In summary – I would highly recommend Jackie as a childminder, I cannot think of anyone better to look after my son while I am at work.

Exceptional childminder

My daughter has been going to Jackie's for almost two years. She is the most incredible childminder and I feel so fortunate to have found her.

They do activities every day ranging from arts & crafts and baking at home, to farm visits, trips to the library and mornings in parks and soft play centres.

Jackie's daily diary means I am always kept informed of what my daughter's been up to and what she's eaten, naps etc.

My little girl will be leaving to start nursery soon and it's going to be incredibly sad leaving - for me, my daughter AND Jackie!

We will always stay in touch as Jackie is largely responsible for what a wonderful little person my daughter is turning out to be.

Fantastic childminder

My 9 month old son has been with Jackie for about 6 weeks now and is having a great time, they are always out and about doing something! He is extremely well cared for, Jackie will always let me know if there is anything wrong and on one occasion went out of her way when he had conjuctivitis to seek advice from a pharmacy when the doctors dismissed the problem. All in all he is a more confident, healthy happy child and I believe this is down to the fantastic care that Jackie gives and spending time with her lovely children and cat !
