Kate's setting was definitely a home away from home setting. My boy loved attending, would have so much fun and learn so much and sometimes not want to come home. We would get updates and photos during the day and to be honest would be kind of jealous to all the fun they where having.
Having Kate as a Childminder to my son was effortless, her setting and family felt like an extention to ours. We knew he was looked after and safe whilst he wasn't with us which for a parent means the world.
We where so blessed to find Kate when we did and have the experience that we did.

My child has had a fantastic experience with Kate over the last few years and is now fully prepared for moving into Foundation class at school. Kate offers a great variety of activities and experiences for the children in her care and I have seen my child flourish in her setting. My child has always been happy and comfortable when being dropped off with Kate, it has been like a home from home.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Kate to anyone who is looking to use her setting.

My son has attended Kate’s setting for the past year and she has been absolutely amazing with him. She provided exactly what he needed in terms of learning and development at each stage, encouraging him to progress and grow in the most kind and supportive environment. Not only is she a fabulous childminder, but also a positive role model to the children. Showing the children how to be kind, thoughtful and caring to others. She has been greatly involved in my son’s transition to School going above and beyond to support him, I know this has made a huge difference to how he feels about starting. My son has adored going to Kate’s and I know he will miss it very much when he goes to School.

Absolutely fantastic childminder. Did a variety of activities with my son, provided a wide range of different healthy and delicious lunches for him. Was extremely kind, understanding and caring towards me when I had a meltdown on his first day🤣 My son loved going to her

Kate is an amazing, caring and thoughtful teacher. She taught my son who has SEN and she was an amazing Senco who not only helped my son but us as parents too. She got to know him so well as an individual and helped with work to suit his individual needs. I am in no doubt that she would be an amazing Childminder.

I have known Kate for many years and helped out in her class when my children went to the school she worked at. She is fantastic with children and both my two said she was their favourite teacher. She really puts so much into making sure the children are happy and engaged and learning through play even when they don’t realise it. That was in classes with over twenty five children, so I have no doubt that any child having her all to themselves will benefit immensely both in their general happiness and well-being. Good luck in your new venture Kate, I know you will be amazing and the children are very lucky! Dxxx

Kate was my daughters first reception teacher , when she started school in September 2021. Kate did everything she could to make the transition as smooth as possible , my daughter has additional needs and required extra support. Kate did everything she could to make sure the right additional funding was in place and that my daughter got the right support, she was so kind , caring and patient. Her communication skills with me and other agencies involved were brilliant. She bent over backwards to help my daughter settle for into school. I cannot thank Kate enough and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Kate taught both of my children who are now 14 and 10 and they both still talk of her fondly. Kate makes learning fun and the thought that goes into her planned activities is incredible. Kate is kind and nurturing and your child will have the best start to their learning journey. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Anyone looking for childcare should look no further than Kate Turner Childminding.
I honestly can not recommend Kate enough. she was the best teacher my boys ever had.
she is professional, kind and extremely trustworthy.
Any children entrusted to her care will not only develop intellectually but socially, emotionally and physically.
She is an amazing teacher.
If my children were still young enough to need Childminding I would certainly be using her services.
