About Me

Hi, I'm Alice. I’m thirty-seven and resident parent to my four-year-old daughter.

My brother and I grew up with childminders (as both our parents worked) and we had really positive experiences.

We require someone who lives nearby us in Worcester or has their own transport (currently without a vehicle, but, can provide a car-seat). My daughter is my absolute priority, and, being self-employed, I make my own hours - if she is ever feeling unwell she can come straight home. I will make myself contactable at all times in case she ever needs to be dropped back/collected. I’m COVID vaccinated and her vaccinations are all up-to-date.

My daughter will turn five this August. She is bright, kind, funny, outdoorsy, determined, adores being read to, enjoys arts & crafts, loves singing along to Disney films/nursery rhymes, a good-eater, a good-listener, great at holding hands when out walking, great on car journeys, loves dinosaurs. She is good with all kinds of pets and very interested in bugs.

My little girl first began attending a nursery around 1 & 1/2 for two mornings a week, she was progressed to four mornings a week, then two mornings and two longer days of 9AM - 3PM after she turned two. She's just started at a pre-school, which is closer to us and feeds into a primary school - so it’s more convenient now and there’s less of a transition for her. She has friends from her old nursery who have joined her in her new nursery class too, which is nice. She loves play-dates and being babysat by my dad.

I’m a self-employed private English Language & Literature/ESOL online tutor (trauma informed, SEN support experience), with all ages and abilities, and essay proof-reader (used to be an ESOL teacher all over the place, and before that an SEN teaching assistant).

We’re a short walk away from Diglis Park, the canal, Perry Wood and Fort Royal Park - all of which my daughter enjoys visiting.
