About Me
Hello
I have worked for almost for 30 years in the Montessori early years sector in the UK and the USA, but for most of that time I ran my own 42 place day nursery. However, I have recently moved to Stockbridge, Edinburgh.
Most recently I worked at Fairstead House School and Nursery in Newmarket, Suffolk as a supply teacher, and was registered with Ranstad, an early years staff agency. I have also tutored on a 1 to 1 basis.
I have also just started part time work at a local Edinburgh nursery so have a clearance check from that setting.
I am now available for tutoring with hours to suit.
I am reliable, conscientious, honest and very experienced with 3–5-year olds.
I can provide reading, writing and numbers tutoring for the early years using the many resources that I still have. I can also do holiday catch up tutoring.

My Experience
I have 30 years early years childcare experience and ran my own Montessori setting from 2007 to 2021, caring for children from 6 months to 5 years.
My Qualifications
AMI Montessori 3 - 6 years qualification from the AMI Montessori College in Hampstead, London 91 - 92.
My Availability
I am available for roughly these hours, but don't mind other ad hoc hours as required.

Christina has been tutoring my son for approximately 2-3 months and we couldn't be happier. Her personality, energy and passsion for teaching is evident as she is able to engage my son for the full hour going through different activities to help him improve on his phonics and speech. Because of Christina my son is excited to learn and has improved tremendously. We will continue to utilize her services for the foreseeable future. Thank you Christina!
