My name is Jane Hemingway , I am married to John and have three children.I am a fun and caring childminder who lives Towngate in Ossett, My hope is to capture your child's imagination, heighten curiosity, and for them to be excited and explore their environment, this will enhance their life skills and increase confidence .I plan activities according to your child's interests and age and stage of development. I follow the EYFS for under 5's.
Inclusive environment for all, we live in a semi- detached house that has easy access for all, the ramp at the front is designed for wheelchair access, hand rails for assistance if needed. The downstairs space comprises of a playroom, filled with a wide variety of toys and books for all ages, there is a laptop for the children to use with your permission for internet use, just to the right there is a bathroom which has also been adapted with rails to support children who physically may need help. The through lounge/diner is used for eating, table top activities , reading and sleeping and watching television. The outside space at the back is completely safe , I have a selection of outdoor toys and apparatus.
Examples of facilities in playroom : lego, duplo ,railway track and trains, cars with road mat, books, puzzles, jigsaws, games, Jurassic track with dinosaurs, dolls with clothes and accessories, dressing up box, electronic games, computer, play dough with shape cutters and much more.
Examples of outside facilities: slide, bikes, scooters, push alongs, hula hoops, skipping ropes, baby swing, play house, footalls, basketball hoop, we grow fruit and vegetables

My Experience
- I have been an OFSTED registered childminder since January 2005.
. I provide quality childcare in a loving and caring environment. After the birth of my Son I decided that I wanted to work with children rather than resume my career in finance, it was the best decision I have made and I have never looked back, I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoy the time I spend with the children, every day is different and we have lots of fun.
