About Me
My name is Lauren Leite and I am a Ofsted registered childminder based in flackwell Heath
I had my first graded Ofsted inspection in 2022 and was graded good with an outstanding in areas
I live in a four bedroom cottage with my husband and three children
Eva who's 11 Ellis who's 7 and Eilah who's 3
We also have a rabbit called Daisy
I have been in childcare now for 25 years and have always wanted to work with children especially coming from a big family I knew working with children was the best job for me
My setting is full of fun offering children a wide variety of play and learning opportunities
Also providing a home to home

All activities provided are based around the individual child’s interest
I offer experiences, and activities that will provide the best possible learning outcomes for each child’s interest
These are some activities that we do
Painting ,sticking ,cooking
messy play ,mini forest play
Trips to local parks ,farms ,libraries and garden centres we often go on a bus or train ride soft play or play train. i have a large garden where the children get to explore all areas of learning from a small climbing frame , a playhouse a mud kitchen and messy area ,bikes and buggies and tables set up with crafts and toys
I currently do carrington school drop of and pick up and travel to school in my car
My Experience
I have 25 years experience in childcare
I have worked in many different settings from being a nursery manager , a childminder back in 2010 receiving an outstanding in my first year
I then moved on to work in a school as a nursery nurse and then was given the opportunity to run the nursery school as a nursery school manager what was an amazing experience helping children getting ready for reception teaching them phonics and making sure they was meeting their targets for learning

Lauren has been the most amazing Childminder for my daughter! As soon as I met her and her family I felt as ease and was so impressed with her fabulous setting and everything she has to offer! Lauren offered settling in days which really helped to build a wonderful relationship with both myself and my daughter and my daughter loved to attend which made dropping off as a parent so much easier as we were always welcomed with a friendly smile every morning!
Lauren goes above and beyond with the care she provides! She plans new activities on a weekly basis which she informs parents of in advance and the resources she provides are so creative and effective! She also takes the children on lots of fun outings!
Lauren will continuously assess and observe the children and help them to progress in all areas of learning! My daughter learnt and experienced so many wonderful new things whilst with Lauren, which helped her to grow and develop in so many ways! She was also amazing at supporting me with my daughter’s potty training!
Lauren’s communication has always been fantastic! She has always kept me up to date with what my daughter is going to be learning and how she is doing both throughout the day and when picking her up! I loved getting lots of lovely photos seeing how happy my daughter was and seeing her enjoying her time and being well looked after!
Lauren is extremely kind and caring and I am so grateful for everything she has done for my daughter and was so sad to leave as she now attends Nursery!

Lauren’s setting is a home from home environment with a extensive range of toys for the children dependant upon age and interest. Lauren is friendly and approachable and you can tell how much she cares about the children she looks after and her experience shines through with helping them grow and develop. Lauren was keen to know more about our home and family life so she could build on that with Amelia and focus on her interests. Amelia has been with Lauren for 10 months and she really loves being there. Lauren provides a debrief at pick up and is always open to feedback and asks if there is anything specific I want her to work on. Amelia has grown into a confident chatty little lady and Lauren has helped her with that! Lauren also provides wrap around for my son and holiday cover, George is nearly 5 and loves going to Lauren’s just as much as Amelia. Lauren caters for their every need and treats them as if they are hers. The days out and experiences they get is second to none and I always receive lots of photos so I never miss out on what they are up to - trips to the library, play groups, local parks, Ruislip lido, and days spent in the paddling pool during the summer heatwave!

My daughter started with Lauren in July 2021 and we're so happy with the care she has provided so far. Lauren was very professional from the moment we first discussed her childminding services, but also very friendly and approachable. She answered all of my questions quickly, and I knew straight away that I'd like her to look after my daughter.
Lauren has welcomed my daughter into her home and family, and has provided the exact sort of environment I was hoping for. She chooses great activities to do, picking a theme each month to focus on and then tying the activities into this to help with her development but also her interests.
Recently we have been working together on potty training, and she's been a great help providing advice and support. We only started a couple of weeks ago and she's pretty much there with it already!

Evie went to Lauren for over 2 years and loved every single minute of being there. ( she is now at pre-school or she would still be there) Lauren is so kind and caring and her family and her were like a second family.
I would get daily updates and pictures on what Evie had been doing during the day (which was always a fun filled day). Lauren always went through how Evie was developing and was amazing and getting her to reach goals. I have to thank Lauren for the way Evie is she would not be how she is now without Lauren.
I highly recommend Lauren and so does Evie.

Sophie has taken to being with Lauren and family like a duck to water. She has been going for the last 10 months and is now just shy of 18months old.
As a missive hit to my ego Sophie doesn’t get upset when i drop her off and leave for work but more regularly than not when i pick her up to take her home. She enjoys her time their so much that getting her out of the garden and into the car can be a mission.
We recently moved closer to my place of work but my commute has actually become longer as we wouldn’t dream of moving her to any other nursery or childminder such has been the care shes received, her enjoyment and her development. She regularly comes home with new words, actions and knowledge that is really allowing us to notice her development.
Not only is it Lauren who influences Sophie’s development but her children and husband have also played such a huge role, its like she has a 2nd family. Sophie regularly imitates her 2 your old sons examples, development and speech which has sped up her own progress.
If i was to sum up Sophie’s time at Busy Butterflies in two word it would be fantastic and faultless.
