Hey! I’m Milma 22-year-old girl originally from Finland, but I’ve lived in England for over three years now. First I started here as an au pair but right now I’m studying psychology full time and working as a nanny. I’m hoping to find some extra babysittings for the evenings or weekends!
I would describe myself as a caring and loyal person, and I get along with children very well. In my free time, I try to be as active as possible and do things with my friends! I have always been super social and I love meeting new people.

My Experience
I was an au pair for over 2,5 years for two lovely boys aged 2 and 8. I lived with the family so I took care of the kids daily (5 times a week sometimes during the weekends). My main responsibilities were taking them to school & picking them up, playing with them, making dinner, and tidying up after them! I had an amazing relationship with my host kids and it feels like I'm part of their family.
I also worked in a primary school for 4 months in Finland and mainly I worked with kids age 7-8, but also with the older ones. My main duties were to help the kids with their school tasks, and I also helped individual students if they had problems for example to concentrate. I was supporting their education as much as I could!
Over the years I have been taking care of children from different families in Finland and also here in England. Right now I’m working with two different families who have kids aged 8 months until 4 years old.
There have been children from ages 0-to 10, but mainly I have worked with 2-8-year-olds. I’m happy to work with kids of any age.
My Qualifications
I don’t have any official qualifications as a nanny but I have gained lots of experience over the years.
I have always felt a connection with children and people around me say that I get along with kids great. Every child is different and I love that when I spend time with them I always learn something new. When I became an au pair I realized how much I enjoy being with kids and it didn’t feel like work. Knowing that it gave me reinsurance that I want to work with children in the future and try to help them with my degree!
