Compassionate and creative nanny with 4 years experience caring for children ages 10 months - 13 years. Experienced in infant care, navigating nap based routines and making healthy and tasty meals. Extensive knowledge of North Bristol’s playgroups, libraries, parks and other attractions. I have a clean driving license since 2017 and my own car. I am also child paediatric first aid trained.
ABOUT ME : In my free time I am a practising artist who loves to paint and create. I am a passionate cook and love to make healthy homemade dinners for myself every night. I also enjoy exercise and like to keep myself fit and have aspirations of running my first half marathon in 2024.
MY NANNY APPROACH : I like to encourage children to know themselves, their wants, their don’t wants, their creativity. I do this by using lots of positive affirmations and gentle encouragement. I love talking to and truly understanding what makes them individuals, and helping them expand on their thoughts. I think consistently talking to and narrating life to children is incredibly important for their language development, curiosity and understanding. I love being outdoors and have a good knowledge of the local parks and play groups. I also have a lovely network of nannies in the area, so built in friends already! I’m a creative, so always up for painting, drawing and making.
I am currently available on Mondays to provide all day cover and from March I will be available to work 2-3 days a week and can initially be flexible on which days those are.
