About Me
Hi my name is Claire, I am a mother of five although three of my children are now adults. I live with my husband and youngest two children. We have two dogs and four cats. My house has easy access to the A331.
My latest OFSTED report was good, my registration no: EY365349.
I take the children in my care out every day to toddler groups, soft play, parks, the library or just for nice walks
When at home we like doing all sorts of crafts, messy play, cooking, free play, song/music sessions and story time amongst other things.
Each child has a daily diary, so you can see what they have been doing each day, meals eaten and if they have had a nap.
I put great importance on fun, as I feel children learn so much more when they are happy and enjoying themselves. I like to encourage children to try all activities and try new things in a controlled and safe environment, while also enjoying the reassurance of routine.

Our son has been with Claire for almost two years. Sadly a job change means we are moving out of the area.
I can't recommend Claire enough. She's ensured my son was well cared for and had lots of fun and activity. Daily trips out, toddler groups, long walks, and lots of arts and crafts has given my son an excellent start to life. He was taken care of, and for us very importantly he had fun!
Flexibility when we needed it. Dependable, never have had a single worry about her not being available. Noticed our son's delay with speech and willing to work with us and the health visitors.
It's clear she cares for our son, and it's also clear he cares for her. As parents that is very important to us.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I would really recommend Claire to any parent, as a fantastic childminder. She provides a lovely home setting with plenty of age-appropriate toys, a good level of stimulating activities, and has provided an excellent level of care to my 2 year old daughter.
Claire keeps a daily record for each child, giving details of places visited, food eaten and activities undertaken. She provides nutritious food for the children at no extra cost and takes the children on exciting activities every day - including the local soft play centres, library, toddler groups and the local parks and garden centre, which my daughter absolutely loves! She also encourages the children in arts and crafts -my little one is always bringing home paintings and items made during her time at Claire's.
Claire has been great in accommodating my work pattern - which can involve additional hours when I have been working in London, giving the flexibility I sometimes have needed.
I really cannot recommend Claire highly enough.

My two children (3 and 6) have been going to Claire's for 2 years now, I can highly recommend Claire, her family, and home as a safe, secure and happy environment for children to be in.
Claire keeps a daily diary of activities or outings undertaken, food eaten and general goings on of the day, the children have always, always done something and often come home with pictures, crafts, cakes or muddy clothes to vouch for this. Before my youngest started pre school they were always at toddler groups and Claire encourages them to interact and play with other children and as a working mum this has been a huge weight off my shoulders to know this was being done when I couldn't always do it myself.
Claire has been great in accommodating my shift work, flexible and at times having them last minute with there being no problem. My children always come home from there smiling and happy and love taking their new toys round to show and play with Claire's own 2 children. There are 2 other young boys that go to Claire's who have been going longer than my 2 so I feel this only proves how happy we are to continue using Claire as a childminder.
After going through 2 other childminders before finding Claire feel I have been blessed to find someone that has a genuine interest in children and their development.
