My Experience
I have always wanted to work with children in some way, so recently I have been volunteering in a primary school. I have been in reception mostly helping with things such as reading, writing and just developing the skills that they will need to move forward. I have really enjoyed my time volunteering at this school and I feel like it has helped me gain more confidence to be able to work with children in the future.
I have also recently just finished a summer in America being a counselor. I was with a group of 12 nine year old girls for 7 weeks where I was responsible for them the whole time. I lived with them, made sure they were at all of their activities on time, participate with them, made sure they were fed and showered every single day. It was the best summer of my life.

A level health and social care greatly helps me with childcare.
