About Me

Babysitter live-out in Cambridge looking for a flexible family

My Experience

June 2024—July 2024
Volunteer and Part-time Nanny • Fiji Islands & Cambridge

Fiji Islands (Volunteer):
I spent a month volunteering in the Fiji Islands, working on a mental health project aimed at raising awareness among families and children. I engaged with the local community to educate them about mental health issues, helping them recognize early signs and offering strategies for addressing these challenges. This experience required me to be culturally sensitive, communicate effectively, and adapt educational materials to suit the needs of diverse groups.

Cambridge (Part-time Nanny):
I provided part-time care for two children, aged 12 and 5. My responsibilities included preparing nutritious meals tailored to the family’s preferences and ensuring the children were well-fed. I also organized outdoor activities, such as visits to the park and playground, to keep them active and entertained. Additionally, I supported their academic development by helping them with their studies in French and Spanish, creating a bilingual learning environment that fostered their language skills.

June 2023—Present
Part-time HCA • Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge

As a Health Care Assistant in Paediatrics and Adults, I play a key role in supporting the medical team in caring for children from new-borns to teenagers and adults. I assist with the treatment of various illnesses and conditions, working closely with nurses and doctors to provide comprehensive care. My responsibilities include attending to children with behavioural, social, or developmental challenges, as well as those with physical disabilities. I support the personal care needs of the children, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, ensuring they are comfortable and well-cared for during their hospital stay. Additionally, I monitor their nutritional intake and provide emotional support to both the children and their families.

April 2022—December 2022
Part-time Nanny • Private Family, Cambridge

In this role, I cared for a 6-month-old infant, making sure their needs were met in a nurturing and safe environment. I was responsible for feeding the baby on a set schedule, preparing meals that were nutritious and in line with the family’s preferences. I established a consistent sleep routine to support the baby’s development and engaged them in age-appropriate play activities to encourage their cognitive and motor skill growth. I also handled light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and organizing the baby’s living area, to maintain a clean and orderly environment.

November 2021—March 2022
Part-time Nanny • Private Family, Cambridge

I provided after-school care for an 8-year-old child with special needs. This role required me to understand the child’s unique challenges and support their development effectively. I assisted with basic hygiene tasks, ensuring the child was comfortable and well-groomed. I also prepared and served nutritious meals and snacks that met any special dietary requirements. In addition, I supported the child’s psychological therapy sessions, which involved activities designed to enhance their social skills, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. I worked closely with the child’s parents and healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to their care.

September 2019—December 2020
Part-time Nanny • Private Family, London

In this position, I managed the afternoon routine for two children, aged 5 and 8. My duties included picking the children up from school two to four times a week, ensuring their safety during the commute. I was also responsible for preparing meals, making lunch and dinner for the children based on their dietary needs and preferences. I supervised the children during their extracurricular activities, including swimming lessons, where I ensured their safety in the water. I also planned and organized daily educational and fun activities, such as trips to the park, playground, or library, to keep the children engaged and learning. Additionally, I assisted them with their homework and school projects, and I provided Spanish lessons to help them develop their language skills.

September 2017—December 2019
Babysitter and Volunteer • Church, Spain

As a volunteer at “Iglesia Dios es Amor” in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, I was part of a team that organized a weekly children’s program attended by over 30 children. My responsibilities included planning and coordinating events and activities that were both educational and entertaining. This required strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with a team of adults and teen helpers. I regularly communicated with parents to ensure that any allergies or special needs were accommodated, demonstrating my attention to detail and commitment to child safety. I led activities like volleyball, football, karaoke, and dance competitions, which were designed to promote physical activity, teamwork, and self-expression. I also provided emotional support to the children and their families, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Additionally, I gained practical skills in face painting and event decoration, contributing to the overall success and enjoyment of the events.

- Saturday full day minimum 8h babysitting
- Sunday full day minimum 8h babysitting

I’m also happy to do some occasional babysitting over the weekends, including overnight care if needed, with an advance of 2 weeks notice in advance if possible. I live in CB1 ideally looking for a family in the same area I am willing to commute with a minimum of 5h per shift.

I am looking for babysitting on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday because I do work in the hospital and I am quite flexible those days whether I can either work in the hospital or do babysitting. I am not looking for a permanent position just babysitting. If you need a specific day with a certain amount of hours we can talk and get an agreement, I understand some families have some urgencies.

With over 5 years of experience caring for children aged 0 to 12 years, I’m committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can thrive. My background in psychology gives me valuable insights into supporting children’s emotional and developmental needs.

If you’re looking for a reliable and caring babysitter who can adapt to your family’s schedule, I’d love to connect with you.

I cannot say enough good things about Noelia, she has been incredible for our family. She comes with new ideas, is very creative, innovitive, reliable and is so very kind. My children, ages 12 and 7, absolutely love having her over. She is equally attentive to both children. Noelia always comes up with new ideas and activities for the children to do. She has made delicious healthy food for them. She is constantly thinking of new ways to entertain them, challenging since my kids are different ages. I would really highly recomment Noelia to anyone.

I cannot recommend Noelia highly enough as a nanny. She has been taking care of our 6 month old baby, and the experience has been exceptional. From the very beginning, she has shown a genuine love and care for our little one, always ensuring that every need is met with patience, kindness and love.

She is so attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure our baby is comfortable, happy, and engaged. She has a natural ability to soothe and entertain, whether it's through play, storytelling, or just being a calming presence. Her understanding of our baby's routine and her ability to adapt to any situation has given us peace of mind, knowing that our child is in the best hands.

Noelia is reliable, professional, and with a warmth spirit . She communicates clearly, and follows any instructions to the letter, her dedication to her work evident in everything she does, we fully trust her with our baby.
