About Me

Hello, my name is Eden, I am 25 years old and I have eight years of experience working with children. I am a kind and caring person who always goes the extra mile to help others. I had decided to finish my role as a Teachers assistant to offer my own babysitting services instead three years ago. I have been babysitting children of all ages from as young as three months old up to the age of 14 years old on weekdays and weekends.

I've been offering my own babysitting services now for three years. I like to offer to visit before babysitting so that you can get to know me. I offer to visit your home for half an hour to an hour where I can play games with your children/child so that it gives you and your little ones the chance to get to know me a little better and answer any questions that you may have before anything is set in stone.

I charge £12 an hour, and that will be included in our first visit if you require me to meet you and your family before taking part in any babysitting. This helps with the cost of petrol and the amount of time spent with your children. I am happy for any DBS cheeks to be completed at the clients expense. I also do sleep ins. However, this will only take place in the comfort of your own home.

I have a full clean driving license and have access to my own vehicle. For two years now, I have taken a role to do the school run from 3:20pm-5:30pm. This means I will not be available for school pick-ups unless your child's school is in the same school or in the same area where I collect the children where I currently work.

I suppose we could come to an arrangement. This will be the case for another year or so. However, those of you who are needing sombody to take your child/children to school in the mornings or if you are needing any babysitting in your own home of a week day or weekend please do get in touch it would just mean that I would have to leave around 2:30 pm on a school day to be on time to collect the children from school.

I will also be available after 5:30 pm every Monday to Friday for any babysitting in the evenings. The weekends get pretty busy as people like to book in advance. I highly recommend that if you have any plans/arrangements and you would like for me to babysit, then get in touch as soon as possible with dates and times and I can schedule you into my diary straight away.

I started working with children in 2017 when I applied for an unpaid work role in a children's play club for young children with ASD (autism). I then went on to work in the community support sector in Cardiff for a year. I have been a Teachers assistant working in schools through the pandemic in nursery and primary and secondary schools as well.

A bit about me and what I like to do outside of babysitting is being a creative person. I make wire wrap crystals jewellery such as rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and hair accessories for both children and adults. which I attend craft fairs all around South wales and Cornwall. I also work for the Council in Cowbridge doing workshops and teaching people how to make their very own unique jewellery.
