Hi, I am Lucy and I am offering childcare services.
I am 22 year old masters student and I am currently studying Forensic Medicine at Barts and the London. I have recently moved to London for my studies and my family currently lives in York. My family absolutely love to travel and I have been to lucky to live in Australia and Hong Kong during my childhood.
I absolutely love children and have been a nanny for 3 years during the summer months for two girls. With them, I would set up art projects, play tennis, bake and help them with their holiday homework. One day, one of the girls decided she wanted to get married to her teddy bear so I set up a whole wedding, with a cake, music, dresses, suits and rings. It was brilliant!
I have experience working as a tennis and lacrosse coach with young children! I also have had experience running drama classes. For the past two years, I have volunteered with the Gig Buddies Campaign by MENCAP. In this role, I assisted teenagers and young adults with learning disabilities and Down syndrome complete their hobbies and interests.
I was recently due to be a head camp counsellor at Camp IHC, one of the leading camps in America. However, due to the pandemic I was unable to go however I have future plans to go! During the pandemic, I worked on the frontline as a healthcare assistant in COVID-19 wards.
Additionally, I absolutely love animals (my parents have 3 cats and 3 dogs)!
I am an extremely trustworthy and responsible individual. I am happy to cook, clean and run errands.
My Experience
I have had 3 years experience as a nanny and years of experience of being a lacrosse and tennis coach.
My Qualifications
I have a recent DBS check that I am able to provide. In the past, I have also been first aid trained.
My Availability
I am a masters student and I am only in two afternoons on Tuesday and Wednesday (2pm-5pm), other than this I am available all the time.
