About Me
My name is Faye of Bright Smiles Childminding and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I live in Downed with my husband and our wonderful twin daughters who are now twelve years old. We take great pride in our warm and loving family home and I offer a secure, safe, inclusive and happy environment.
I am a reliable, honest, caring and bubbly individual and my setting allows children to thrive by learning through play. I offer a fantastic selection of educational toys, engaging activities and messy play encouraging children to investigate and explore.
I have a large garden where little ones can enjoy the mud kitchen, water wall and other fun equipment. I take full advantage of our fantastic community with walks to local parks, woods, the local library and trips to the farm.
I understand the importance of working with parents/carers to promote the learning and development of all children in my care and will provide daily updates and photos regarding your child's day. I provide a healthy breakfast on arrival and nutritious morning and afternoon snacks.
My Experience
I have previously worked as a nursery assistant and as a qualified teaching assistant in a popular local primary school. I have gained great knowledge and experience with working with children of all ages and a deep understanding of the EYFS and children with SEN. Additionally, I am paediatric first aid trained and have extensive safeguarding knowledge.

My Availability
I provide day care Monday - Friday from 8.00am - 6.00pm. Full days only and a minimum of 8 hours.

Our daughter Mabel is almost one and started with Faye this week after some settling in sessions. We can see that Mabel is already so comfortable there. She has loads of fun with the brilliant & well-thought out activities that Faye puts a lot of effort into. Faye has a beautiful clean house & a garden with water play, ride on toys, and loads of other fun things to do. She is incredibly thorough in the way she provides updates during the day, updates in the childrens’ individual childcare books, and by sending a monthly newsletter to parents. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Faye to anyone, we are honestly so happy we found her! She’s made my return to work so much easier.
