Hello! I live in Stevenage with my husband and 2 dogs. I have worked with children for a large part of my working life and enjoy interacting with them in a fun and safe environment.
My Experience
I currently work with a number of different families within my community. My families have a variety of needs, including ASD and special learning needs. Prior to this I worked in primary education for several years. I have also spent some time working in a nursery setting, as well as in the community, with both babies and toddlers. My own children are adults and I have a wealth of experience that I can draw on to support families and help meet their needs. I always aim to be patient and encouraging with everybody I spend time with. I currently have available hours on Mondays and Tuesdays as well as ad-hoc weekend babysitting.
My Qualifications
Safeguarding Children Course. First Aid Course, Child Development 0-5 years. BA.
My Availability
Immediate. Please note working on a Sunday and/or bank holiday will be at a charge of £15.00 per hour. My time is flexible, so please don't hesitate to discuss your childcare requirements if they don't appear to align with my schedule. I am open to discuss overnight requirements too.

Gayle looked after DS on my wedding day. She came with play-dough and sticker books to keep DS entertained, and took him for walks in search of treasure. DS thought she was great fun! It allowed me and husband to relax and enjoy the day knowing that DS was happy and being looked after. Thank you Gayle for helping us have the perfect day!
