About Me
Hello, this is Ankit (Dad) and Amanda (Mum) and we're the two very fortunate parents of twins R (boy) and P (girl), born 2018. Our twins R and P are in school and starting Reception in Sep 2022. We’re looking for “wraparound” care for about 3 days a week during term time and then full time during school holidays. If you can only do one of those or you're a childminder, not a nanny, that’s ok – we’d still like to hear from you! We’re flexible and willing to pay generously.
Dad: I'm originally from India but grew up mostly in England (mostly Lancashire). I work in a bank and 3 days a week I work in Central London.
Mum: originally from Canada but lived in the UK for 20+ years. I work for a Local Authority (social work).
We live just outside Gravesend town centre, having moved from London in 2018. We also have a Golden Retriever and he is extremely friendly and perfectly happy to run off with the next person who gives him cuddles!
The hours would be:
Term time - about an hour in the morning to get them to school and then about 3 hours in the afternoon/evening to feed + entertain them once picked up from school. So likely to be about 12 hours a week although could consider a 4th day (i.e. potentially 16hrs). A parent will be at home at all times.
Holidays – pretty much all day, Mon – Fri. A parent will be at home at all times so you won’t be left to do everything!
We would be willing to reward generously - £15 / hour net, i.e. take home pay.
About the kids
R and P are very smart and very vocal, they are thick as thieves with each other. I strongly believe in family and I always tell them they must love and protect each other no matter what – and they do! They’re always hatching plans about this or that.
R loves lego and music in particular, P is very verbal and wise beyond her years – very girly and likes to dress up and perform. However, P is quite shy and sometimes this can cause reluctance to do certain things. P can be headstrong about what she wants! R is very sweet and likes to please people but can also be headstrong sometimes.
Anyway, there’s never a dull moment with these two and while we’re juggling work and childcare we could do with some help.
Thanks.

Happy to discuss more details but not expecting anything out of the ordinary: getting them ready for school, entertaining, feeding, getting ready for bed, etc.
