About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with over 10 years experience working in childcare. I have 3 children of my own (aged 18, 16 and 13). I live in the Knightsfield area of Welwyn Garden City and am available for school pick ups/drop offs at Harwood Hill.
We spend lots of time out and about at various playgroups, soft play areas and the farm socialising with other children and keeping active. When we are indoors there is lots to do here with plenty of toys and crafts etc to keep busy. We also like to make use of our large garden which has plenty of toys and equipment.
We have 3 very friendly cats and 2 soppy dogs who absolutely love children. We often put on our wellies and take them for a walk through the woods, which the children always really enjoy. .

I have gained experience looking after children of different ages since I started childminding and I also have personal experience of bringing up my own 3 children.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My hourly rate is £6.00. I will not be paid if I take holiday or am unable to work. If you cannot bring your child to me during the agreed hours of childminding then I will still need to be paid as I need to keep your child''s place open.

Our Jesse has been with Lisa for almost 3 years now and she is honestly like his second mum, she’s amazing. Such a caring and loving childminder and I’m gutted that he has to leave her to start school! He has developed such lovely traits from being around her and she always makes the days super fun for the children that she looks after. Highly recommend!

My son has been going to Lisa’s for 18 months, since he was one, and Lisa’s house has become a second home for him. He was warmly welcomed by her whole family and loves his days there. Lisa is flexible and accommodating, her home is a great setting for children and we have always liked how much she takes the children out and about every day. I feel that she has paid a huge role in his development over the past year and a half, he has learnt so much from their trips to the park, zoo and the farm. I feel very comfortable leaving my son with Lisa and would highly recommend her for anyone needing childcare.

Our two daughters have been looked after by Lisa since our youngest was just a baby of 9 months. They are now 7 and 8 years old! Initially they were full time with her and she now picks them up from school, 3 days a week.
It's clear that Lisa has a really strong bond with the girls and provides a safe, secure and fun environment for them. Her house is basically like a second home. They've always got on really well with Lisa's own children and love all the various pets (who seem to tolerate all the kids!). The multiple trampolines and other play equipment in the garden are a favourite feature too.
Lisa clearly loves children, is always calm and very easygoing. She's also flexible, including changing her school pick up to accommodate us when our eldest got into a different school than expected. I would definitely recommend her as a childminder.

We have been sending our daughter to Lisa's for a couple of years, and we are really pleased with the warm and supportive environment in her home. Lisa is professional, but approachable and friendly, and has formed a strong relationship with our daughter, who always feels safe and happy in her care. It is a true home from home environment, with lots to do to keep the children busy, and regular outings during the day and school holidays, which my daughter really enjoys. Lisa is a wonderful childminder and I have no hesitation in recommending her.

My son has been cared for by Lisa 2 days a week for the past 2 and a half years, since he was 15 months old.
He loves going to her house and it is a real home from home. He is always welcomed with a smile. He loves playing in the large garden and going on the outings Lisa plans such as trips to garden centres, soft play and farms.
Lisa has a really lovely manner with all the children in her care. She always seems kind, calm and patient with them and all the children are happy and know what’s expected of them.
Lisa has helped us at each developmental milestone and offered advice and support, when needed.
We trust Lisa’s judgement, she is very reliable and she has always been flexible in helping us with our childcare needs.

My son has been with Lisa for over a year now. We have been so lucky to find her. He loves being at Lisa's as there are always so many fun things to do. He absolutely adores her well-tempered pets and he has got a special bond with Muffin, the most adorable cat. He goes to Lisa every day after school and he never gets bored and even complains if I turn up early! Lisa is just such a great person, a real friend. She has been very flexible and would do everything to meet the needs of the working parents. Her children are lovely and polite; her youngest daughter and my son often play together and have become good friends. Knowing that my son is happy and well looked after at Lisa's enabled me to enjoy my work. I can't imagine what we would do without her. Lisa has been recommended to us by our neighbour and I would definitely recommend Lisa to everyone. When you see Lisa with the children in her care and you hear her talking about them, you know that she genuinely loves children.

Freddie our 19 month old has been with Lisa since Feb 2018 and always comes home smiling and happy. Lisa provides good days out with lots of variation and educational activities. Meals provided is a bonus. She shows a genuine care for Freddie and a trustworthy nature that as new parents leaves you feeling relaxed that he is safe all day. She is now a good friend too. She also provides a daily diary of all Freddies activities. Highly recommend her to anyone. Very experienced in what she does.
