My Summary

My Experience

I adore children and am a fully qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse, with experience of working in both Montessori and Steiner early years settings. Whilst in these roles, I undertook regular paediatric first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding training courses, but am always open to doing refresher courses should my employer be willing to cover the cost of them.

In addition to working with young children, whilst studying at uni, I also did two years of work placements in primary schools, mainly based in Years 1 & 2, with one brief placement in Year 4.

I left Gloucestershire and relocated to Cardiff in 2018, where I currently still reside.

Since moving here, I have undertaken further studies, completed an internship, supported a child with Down Syndrome on a 1:1 basis (using Makaton) whilst volunteering as a Brownie’s leader, and more recently, worked as a nanny to a family with three young children, one of whom is autistic.

On top of usual nannying duties, I also assisted with basic domestic chores, such as cooking, cleaning and doing laundry whilst the baby was napping. I would be more than happy to offer these services again alongside childcare, if you so wish…

Whilst I enjoy working with all children, I am particularly interested in supporting neurodiverse children and those with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

-Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education in ‘Education and Learning’ (University of Gloucestershire)

-ImROC Accredited Peer Support Work

-Level 3 Qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce Directorate (ages 0-18)

Spanish A-Level- A*
English A Level-A*

8 GCSEs (3 As and 5 A*s, including Maths, English & Science)

My Availability

Due to other commitments, I am only able to work a maximum of 15 hours a week, Monday-Friday.

• Babysitting from £10.50 per hour
• Nannying from £10.50 per hour (gross)
