About Me
I’m a very energetic 50 year old mum, who is passionate about children getting the best holistic start in life whilst having lots of fun!
So, here at ‘Foxley Cubs Childcare’ we have a lovely setting with a great size garden with bridle paths and fields out the back.
I am fully qualified with the NCFE CACHE Level 3 for home based childcare, I have my paediatric first aid and hold all relevant policies and procedures. I am OFSTED registered. I also do continuous professional development every week to enable me to run and provide the best childcare to the children. I am running it so it’s under 5 year olds only…unfortunately I’m not looking at doing before or after school pick ups etc… it’s more like a mini nursery!
My Experience
I am a Mum of two, the youngest is now 15 years old and the eldest 18.
I also worked at Winkfield Montessori Nursery. I do continuous professional development weekly.

We cannot recommend Sammy highly enough. Our little boy has been going to Sammy's for 3 days a week for several months now and absolutely loves it. It is clear from the videos and photos we receive every day that he is there, where he is smiling and laughing, that he is very happy, well looked after and loves every minute he spends there. We love Sammy's focus on being outdoors, as much as the weather allows, whether it is playing in the garden or going for walks along the bridleways near her house. As working parents it is so reassuring to know that our son is getting the care, attention and stimulation he needs to thrive and that he is being looked after by someone who has genuine affection for him. We consider ourselves very, very lucky to have found Sammy!

Our little girl has been with Sammy since she was 8 months old (15 months now), starting with 1 day a week, then 3 and now she goes to “Sammy's house” full time. Sammy is very kind, caring and professional and nothing is ever too much of an ask. Her house is lovely and super clean at all times with lots of toys for kids to play indoors, aswell as different outdoor activities for little ones to enjoy, she has lovely outdoor play area in her garden with slides, ball pit, sand pit to name a few. They all go out for lovely walks when the weather permits. Throughout the day we receive updates and lots of lovely photos, with what kids are getting up to, which is always so exciting to receive and see!
We feel totally relaxed with our daughter being with Sammy, knowing that she is taking excellent care of our little one. Our little one absolutely adores Sammy! We are so pleased we found Sammy and the impact she has had on our little one’s development has been exception with here walking and vocabulary coming a long way over a short period of time. Couldn’t recommend Sammy highly enough.

Sammy’s genuine care, nurturing environment, and commitment to my son's well-being and development have made me so glad I found her! She’s so dedicated and has such a fantastic personality. She first looked after my little boy when he was about 5 months old and has cared for him full time for about the last year. He is always so excited to go to “Sammy’s house”, which feels so homely, and he loves all of her amazing family. She has a great set up with so many toys and he gets to spend lots of time in her garden or going on countryside walks. I appreciate her open communication and she always updates me on what fun activities he has been up to each day. He also gets offered delicious food and has a very varied, healthy menu. I couldn't be happier with the quality of care provided.

I was searching for a childminder for a few weeks and had almost given up hope when I found Sammy. my son was 10 months at the time and I was ready to get back to work.
Having used childminders in the past for my eldest, I was a little skeptical. however, Upon meeting Sammy, my concerns were quickly put at ease.
Sammy is a loving and kind woman with plenty of experience, having raised a lovely family of her own. Sammy and her homely setting is a wonderful place for our little boy and just what we were looking for - a home from home environment.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Sammy, and if you are lucky enough to find an opening, you won't be disappointed.
