About Me
I am a a registered childminder in Sidcup and work together with my husband who is also a registered childminder. Our setting is in a quiet road which is close to both Sidcup and New Eltham railway stations. You can park right outside. The house has been extended and adapted to cater for children of all different age groups. The garden has a very large decking area where children can play all year as it has a permanent canopy.. There is a summerhouse used exclusively for the children which stocks an extensive range of toys, equipment and resources. Children are able to ride bikes and scooters, enjoy sand and water, draw, paint, make models, sing and dance, play music, use computers, as well as many other different activities. Children can also benefit from my knowledge of German and dance. I encourage children to learn during play and help them to extend thier learning by interacting with them and helping them to increase thier understanding. Children are free to choose what they want to do and are encouraged to be independent and confident. There is also plenty of time for quiet time, cuddles and comfort, as I feel that it is vital that children in my care feel loved and cherished.
I want children to be very happy at our setting as well as safe and secure. We take this very seriously and have policies and procedures in place which we share with parents. We operate an inclusion policy and accept all children and will adapt if needed. We welcome children from all backgrounds. Both of us have been rated outstanding providers with Ofsted.
My Experience
I have worked with children for over 20 years and have been a registered childminder since 1994. During that time I gained considerable expertise in childcare. I have experience with autism and ADHD and children who have English as a second language. I have experience with special dietary needs.
We belong to our local childminding network which means we are quality assured and have all the benefits associated with belonging to a network.
My Qualifications
I am qualified up to level 5 in childcare and my recent qualification is the Early Years Foundation Degree.

We are open Tuesday to Thursday from 8.00am till 6.00pm

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
We charge £65 per day and are able to offer the government Funding for children and provide up to 30 hours per week free of charge.

I highly recommend Kymme and Ken if you are looking for fantastic, trustworthy childminders to care for your little ones. I couldn't have asked for better people and their setting is perfect for children to learn through play with a safely laid out garden and plenty of toys. They have looked after both my boys from 9 months old when I had to return to work right up to this week when my 4 year old finished his last day, in readiness for school in September. I had looked at many childminders to place my first son with a few years ago and instantly felt at ease when we came to Kymme and Ken's, my son seemed right at home in their setting and the rest is history. My boys have learned so much while here, they learned a lot through play and Kymme gave us a regular reports and progress updates in line with the EYFS, and Ken sent us almost daily photo updates of them during the day having great fun and clearly very happy. The rates are the most affordable in the area, and this includes meals and snacks throughout the day. My boys loved it here and I'm thankful for the great care they received, and we will miss them loads.

Kymme and Ken have been looking after Harrison since September. It was hard for him as started at one day a week but then increased to 3. They are amazing with him he is 13 months old and loves going there. He even waves me off now. I would recxomend them to everyone. They put my mind at ease and you can see howncomfortable he feels with Ken he puts his arms out to.go.to him each morning.
