About Me
My name is Caroline Hutton and I am a registered childminder with the Care Inspectorate Wales(cIw). I have been registered for 7 years.
I am also a member of Pacey.
I have completed the introduction to childminding practice course. I am also first aid trained and have completed the basic hygiene course.
I look after my two wonderful sons who are now 11 and 13. Both are in full time school.
I live in a three bedroom semi detached property which is located at the end of a quiet cul de sac five minutes walk from Rhiw Syr Dafydd School in Oakdale, where I live with my husband and our two sons.
I am offering a warm, loving, friendly and welcoming setting with lots of actitivites and trips out.
I am available for pick up and drop offs from Rhiw Syr Dafydd school and have a very flexiable approach to my hours as I realise that some parents do have varying hours at work.
My Experience
I have been registered for 7 years and have looked after my own children for eight years. Since being registered I have looked after children with ages ranging from 7 months to 12 years of age.
I am an advanced childminder which allows me to attend many training sessions including ADHD and ASD, Attachment and resiliance and children's mental health. It also means I have to adhere to higher regulations.
I provide many activities during the day to build childrens development and self confidence. These actitivies are run to themes which are changed every couple of months. I follow the foundation phase framework which is followed in nurseries and schools to plan these activities for children to learn through play.
I also attend playgroups, of which many of the activities are carried out in welsh.
My two children love other children and are very warm and welcoming to them and help them settle in by being kind and loving.

I am open from 7.30 to 17.00 Monday, Thursday and Friday and 7.30 to 16.15 Tuesday and Wednesday I I currently have spaces so please contact me to discuss.

Caroline has been the most amazing Childminder i could of hoped for. She has gone above and beyond all my expectations. Caroline always greets us with a smile and what the children will be doing that particular day. I have used Caroline during school holidays and she has bever failed to accomodate me, my Daughter has loved spending time at her house and is made to feel part of the family. She takes the children on lots of fun outings and accomodates the various age groups. I can not thank Caroline enough for everything she has done for us, she has helped to develop my daughter into the most kind and considerate little girl she is today, just a shame she has got to old to need a childminder.
I can highly reccomend Caroline for all your chilminding needs.

Caroline is a warm and friendly person. She has been looking after my 22 month old son for the last 7 months, in which time I have notice a huge change in him. He is coming on leaps and bounds. He was a very clingy baby, and I found it very distressing with the thought of having to leave him. Then I was given carolines number and we arranged a meeting. From that first meeting I knew thatJack would be more than happy there and both my husband and I felt confident with Caroline. She is very efficient at what she does. Her home is clean and she always does activities with Jack. I love the fact that Caroline keeps a diary of what they have done each day - I can't wait to read it when I get home from work. I completely trust Caroline and I would definately recommend her, Jack is no longer a clingy baby and loves going to Carolines. She is an A* childminder, who has become a friend too. X:-)
