About Me
Hi, I'm a registered childminder. I live in kidbrooke SE38NP
I was assessed as good with outstanding areas.
I have 26 years experience working with and looking after children from all ages, backgrounds and abilities. I love children and really enjoy all aspects or working with them and helping them with their development. I have been trained in various aspects of special needs (ie makaton PECS and play therapy) and am able and willing to work along side therapists.
I'm energetic and creative and this helps me to provide varied activities and trips out.
I love food and will encourage a love of food by growing and cooking with children and will provide a balanced, nutritional diet which I'm happy for parents to input.
I I used to live in Greenwich but have always enjoyed taking the children to the woods. Although it's very important for children to have the opportunity to socialise with peers I think it's also very important for them them to have specific 1-1 time with me and will make sure they all have this daily.
My home has a playroom and I also have a large garden full of wildlife .
Parents are always welcome to come round to see if me and
my setting are suitable for them.
I enjoy the great outdoors and will take your child/children to parks and woods etc, whatever the weather.
I'm a firm believer that children learn and develop best through play and experience.
Although I provide aprons and cleaning facilities, your child will get messy! So please do not bring them in their best clothes. :)
I have lots of resources and play equipment to help children of all ages with their developing needs.
I am interested in attachment parenting and baby wearing and own a number if slings and wraps suitable from 0-4
I love being outside and feel passionately about the environment and building a greener future for the children and I’m currently training to be a level 3 forest school leader which I plan to do along side childminding
My Experience
I have worked as a youth worker for 3 years. A nursery assistant for 2 years. A learning support assistant for 9 years with special needs ages 11-19(mostly autistic) and also various nanny and babysitting jobs, mostly for children below the age of 5.

My son has been looked after by Natalie for the past 2 years (from the age of 1).
We rate Nat very highly. Firstly, I know that he is having a good time and having a range of experiences and learning new things. Secondly Natalie is such a great communicator and we get updates and photos throughout the day. My son loves going to Nat's and it has made the whole transition back to working, after maternity leave, so much easier - knowing that he is happy and in safe hands.

Nat was the very first childminder that we trusted with our little boy when he was 14 months and we all adore her. Nat is caring, loving, professional, honest and reliable. Her house is well stocked to keep all of the children entertained, when Nat isn't entertaining them herself.
Sadly we're moving out of London (and can't convince Nat to come with us) so we'll have to find new childcare - think we'll struggle to find anyone who comes close.

Natalie came to my rescue at the very last minute,via Childcare.co.uk, when my plan A sitter let me down. My very nearly 10 year old son took to her immediately and usually quiet with strangers, did a complete U turn and didn't stop chatting. He says he has had a fabulous day and wants to know when he can visit again. His words were "Mum you are always busy and you don't have time to play games and sit down and chat, and anyway I know all about you,it's good to meet new people". I don't need a regular child minder but if I did Natalie would be OUR number one choice. I'm sure her places will soon fill up. A very happy Mum and son.
