Hello,
my name is Sommer, I am 24 years of age and have worked in childcare for 8 years (ages 6months - 8years) until present. Creating a safe, secure and engaging environment for children.
As providing outstanding care towards children was always a passion of mine, I decided to leave school after my GCSEs and became a private nursery apprentice in which I then progressed on to achieve my level 3 in childcare and education. Over my time working in the nursery I achieved various certificates which you will find listed below.
All my hard work paid off and I was eventually offered a promotion to become a room leader in the same setting, in which I filled my position for 3 years. I have also baby sat for numerous children and look after my friends and family's children when they need a little bit of time to themselves. I'm now looking for my next chapter in working in partnership with a family who needs some extra support with their children and around the home.
I am a bubbly and creative person who is committed to teaching manners, personal hygiene and social skills and ensuring the child's emotional wellbeing.
