About Me

Here at Chestnut Childminding we provide a home from home experience leading with the child's interests but providing opportunities for all children to build on their existing knowledge and experiences.

Recently Ofsted Inspected and graded "GOOD" in all areas, the inspector left feeling welcomed by all of us and loved the calm and warm environment created here at Chestnut Childminding.

Your child will have alot of time outside, we love being outdoors and exploring nature. As well as day trips and new experiences which are such an important part of our week at Chestnut Childminding.

I enjoy porviding sensory play opportunities for the children and giving them a safe place to learn and grown in their early years.

I also provide School drop off and pick ups from Highwoods community school, offering a relaxed environment and we like to do baking, play games, do yoga and occasionally we will go to the local care home to do activities with the residents.

My Experience

I'm a mummy to my boys who you will often see at the setting with me.

I am a qualified level 3 Early years Educator, DBS checked, paediatric first Aid trained, safeguarding training and food hygiene training.

I attend regular courses to enhance my provision and ensure I have the most up to date information to support all the children in my care.

I have previously worked in nursery settings and been a childminder assistant.

I have 1 space becoming available in September 2025 and 1 in January 2026.

Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

£7.50 an hour inclusive of activities and snacks.
