I’m very fitness-oriented and enjoy running and going to the gym, which helps me keep up with energetic little ones!

My Experience
I have 4 years of experience working across a range of nursery settings. Most recently, I have worked as a supply agency nursery practitioner, supporting various nurseries with day-to-day childcare and classroom routines. For the past 8 months, I’ve been consistently placed at one nursery, where I’ve built strong, trusting relationships with both staff and children.
I have particular experience working with autistic children, including non-verbal children, and have developed a deep understanding of how to support their emotional and developmental needs. I helped them adjust to new routines and classroom environments by using sensory play (such as water play), music, and visual cues—like remembering their favorite animals and songs—to help them feel safe, comforted, and engaged.
My role also included responsibilities such as:
Completing accident forms accurately
Maintaining food charts
Ensuring cleanliness and safety through end-of-day tasks (cleaning, tidying, bin duty)
Writing daily observations of children’s development and activities
Conducting handovers with parents, which I particularly enjoyed as it allowed me to connect and communicate directly with families about their child’s day
Coming from a family of educators in both primary and secondary settings, I’ve grown up understanding the value of education, consistency, and emotional support in children’s lives. I'm now seeking a nanny role where I can bring creativity, warmth, and structure to a home setting, and build strong, lasting relationships with a family.
My Qualifications
I hold a degree in Children, Young People and Families, I completed this at Leeds Trinity University. I gained a strong foundation in safeguarding, child psychology, and working with families in challenging circumstances. During my studies, I engaged with charities and professionals through research and direct outreach, focusing on children’s mental health and the connections between nurture, nature, and long-term development.
My Availability
I am looking for full time or part time at least three days a week work, but would not work over the weekend.
