About Me
My name is Emily I have been Ofsted Registered since July 2022.
I've been working in Early Years for the last 12 and have gained so many skills and knowledge through working in a preschool and nursery setting and have successfully completed all relevant childcare qualifications.
I am first aid trained and have an enhanced DBS.
I live with my daughter Isabella she is 13 years old and at Secondary school.
I left my job as an Early Years practitioner to start my own childminding business so I can continue to have the career I am passionate about but also have the time for my daughter on her next journey through secondary school.
We have a cat (Cookie) and an African Grey parrot (Sapphire) she is very cheeky!
We have a small French Bulldog (Lulu)
I support each child's learning and development through planned activities that reflect their interests.

Emily stepped in to care for our 10-month-old daughter on short notice after she was let go by our previous childminder due to separation anxiety. Within just a couple of weeks, Emily had successfully helped her overcome this anxiety. Now, instead of tears, Emily is greeted with a big smile and a cuddle when we drop off our daughter. She is truly a wonderful childminder who clearly has a great way with kids.

My little one’s been with Emily full time for four months now and couldn’t be more pleased. She enjoys so much seeing Emily, that even on the days off, she goes to put her outdoor shoes on, then gives me mine to put on, then goes at the door and asks to go to “Emy” or “Emimy”, as she calls her. She has learned so much already, her vocabulary has expanded and really is thriving there.
As for Emily, all I can say about her is that she is a lovely, caring person that is passionate about what she’s doing. She sends me updates and pictures about my little one’s day, and keeps in touch even when my little one is off. She does outings and academic works as well with the kids, not just playing/watching telly and took interest in my little one’s likings in order to better accommodate her.
Overall, I am happy to let my daughter with Emily, as I know she is safe and well looked after.

My little girl has been going to Emily’s since she was 9 months old. Emily is so great with her, she provides dinner and always lets me know how she’s getting on. Isla is always happy when I pick her up. It makes going to work so much easier knowing she’s happy and safe. Emily is great and I would highly recommend her.

My 14 month old son is looked after by Emily 5 days a week and he really loves her. He has come on so much since he has been with her, and is getting more confident with his walking and talking. She takes him out to soft play, does baking, and messy play, and I love to see the photos of him having a great time. The house is clean and tidy, with a lovely big garden for tbe children too. It is so reassuring to know he is in such good hands when I'm working. Thank you :)

Emily has my little boy which is 19 months 3 times a week, She is absolutely amazing he loves going and has come along so much since starting.
He settled so quickly and is so happy to go each morning.
She does lots of activities and takes them out which he enjoys

Emily looks after my two daughters, who both absolutely adore her and are always excited for their next visit. Providing them with new and fun filled activities, in a very clean and safe environment. Emily's communication has been nothing but fantastic and will always inform us of any concerns that she has regarding my children, or about their day. Emily has been extremely supportive of the dietary choices that we have chosen for our children, which has put us at ease as they are provided with breakfast and lunches. My 22 months old speech and development has hugely been influenced by Emily's knowledge of working with early years children, and this is commonly acknowledged by family and friends. All in all Emily is a great childminder and I couldn't recommend her enough.
