My Requirements

We are looking for a caring, creative, considerate and organised person to give our family a hand in the late afternoons/evenings (from around 3:30 pm till 7:30 pm but hours are negotiable). There is the opportunity of going full-time when I return to work.

Who we’re looking for:
- Someone who is warm and caring. We want someone who can be a real part of our family unit.
- Someone who is organised. You enjoy meal prep and figuring out systems to make sure the house is organised and tidy.
- Someone who enjoys cooking.
- While you don’t necessarily need a formal qualification in childcare, experience with children and/or in a childcare setting is needed.
- Recent DBS check and driver’s licence are essential.

On a typical day you would:
- Help in the evenings with mealtime/bathtime - e.g. cooking, tidying up the kitchen, looking after the younger or older child while one of us puts the other one down for bed
- Do some general tidying and light cleaning - such as putting away toys, hoovering, putting on washing, ironing etc. We don’t expect you to do a deep clean of the house, we have cleaners come in for that.
- Meal prep - cooking breakfast/lunch or dinner for the next day

Occasionally we might also ask for your help with:
- Babysitting in the evenings - so we can have a date night!
- Help during the day when our eldest is ill and can’t attend nursery
