About Me
I am a registered childminder living in Lordswood, Kent. I am a mother of four boys, two of whom now have families of their own. I live at home with my two youngest boys (eight and fifteen), my fiance Tim and our friendly Border Collie, Heidi.
I have nearly ten years of experience working with children in various EYFS settings. Working with children is my passion. Nurturing and developing them to be independent and ready for their first year at school.
I provide a warm, safe, stimulating and spacious environment with various resources and activities that support children in all areas of the EYFS. I am blessed with a large garden, perfect for children's natural curiosity that enables them to explore freely and learn about the natural world around them.
I am also conveniently located only a two-minute walk from our local woodland area. I am a member of 'The Forest Childcare Association'. It has been valuable in giving me the skills to deliver an outstanding outdoor experience.
Playgrounds, a library and soft play are also within walking distance. They are a regular part of my settings routine.
I provide healthy home-cooked meals and enjoy cooking and baking with the children.
My Experience
Over the last ten years, I have volunteered at Home-Start, helping vulnerable families, and worked at a two year funded preschool, Day Nurseries and Reception class. This, at the same time as raising four young children.
I have experience working with children with SEN, including ASD and speech and language delay.

My Availability
I am available all through the year, except for four weeks of the year for family holidays. This can be discussed further once a place for your child has been arranged.
My availability is from 7am - 6pm
