My name is Diego and I’m a Spanish pre-school teacher living here in Edinburgh.
As a graduate in early childhood education I have experience with kids being able to offer a loving environment, educational games and creativity activities.
I have experience for +5 years with children (from 6 months to 10 y.o.)
Im a reliable and creative person. I speak both Spanish and English fluently. I like to keep an active lifestyle, I practice yoga and exercise on a regular basis. I also love reading and cooking healthy meals. Travelling is one of my passions.
Im based in Stockbridge but Im happy to travel within Edinburgh.

My Experience
I have experience as a pre-school teacher in different schools back in Spain.
I’ve also worked over two years as an early years practitioner in different nurseries here in Edinburgh.
I also have nanny experience. I’ve worked with different families here in Edinburgh. I have experience with babies as well as toddlers. My last job was looking after 4-year-old twins before they went to school.
My Qualifications
BACHELOR DEGREE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION (HONS.)
I have a university degree on early years education.
Paediatric First Aid, acquired during my time in nurseries.
I also have some courses of related topics such as safeguarding, child protection, GIRFEC, HGIOELC. I am also familiar with the Scottish curriculum.

Diego is a great nanny. He looked after my children for over 6 months and he is still helping us with occasional babysittings. He’s fun, engaging, loving and responsible.
My children love him, and we know they are in safe hands when he’s caring for them.
I would highly recommend him.
