My Requirements

We're looking for an active, fun and loving Nanny for both children, Monday - Friday between 7:30am - 4/5pm (with some flexibility to stay later on odd days if needed).

This person will have sole charge of our younger daughter, who has just turned 1 years old and also our 3.5 year old after her school day which ends at 3pm and during half terms and summer/autumn holidays.

Covering all nanny duties to include planning daily outings, toddler classes, setting up activities, playdates and reading and generally offering a stimulating environment for them to thrive. An assertive Nanny who lets them play freely when there is opportunity, but knows when to take an active role to keep them engaged. During times where it would be caring for both children, to ensure our older daughter also has opportunities to play and learn, bonds with you and also strengthens her bond with her younger sister. Meal prep and tidying up after them, doing their laundry etc would naturally form part of the role and ideally completed during times where they are napping or playing safely but ultimately their care and development is the priority and we have a regular person who cleans our home.

Both parents work from home a few days a week and want to be around when they can, but will typically stay out of the way and in the office to ensure there isn’t confusion for the children while we work, though it would be great to join for lunch or short breaks when we can. It would be ideal if the person's holidays can be flexible around our own as we need reliable care in line with our own jobs. Our holidays are currently planned for end of August (2 weeks) and Christmas (2 weeks).

Ultimately, we are looking for someone who just understands our needs and can take care of our children similarly to how we would (be their second mum and our rock) and become a member of our family.
