My name is Florencia and I am 29 years old. I came to the UK initially as an Au Pair of three lovely kids aged 3-7 years old. I come from a family of teachers and I hold a teaching degree as well.
I absolutely love children and I stand strongly by supporting their creativity and passions while watching them grow and thrive.
I spend my free time at my flat in North London with my cat, cooking, reading books and listening to vinyls. I enjoy being outdoors and going for walks, as well as working out.
My Experience
I hold a language teaching degree, awarded in Argentina in 2017. I have worked in varied childcare environments including Au Pair, teaching classes of 20+ kids of varied ages (3-17 years old) for three years, nanny of babies and school aged children on a sole charge basis, nursery help during my time in the US, camp assistant when I was younger and school support for unprivileged kids in Argentina.
Currently a full time nanny to B10 (full time school and clubs, preparing for 11+) and G6 (Y1). I have been with them for almost 3 years, teaching G6 how to read when she was nearly 4yo, and tutoring / helping B10 with homework and exam prep.
I have also worked on and off babysitting a 9month baby boy, who is now 3 YO.
My Qualifications
ESL Teaching Bachelor's Degree, equivalent to a Higher Education Diploma Level 5 in the UK
