I’m a 29 year old bubbly, enthusiastic, caring nanny who puts their all into everything I do. I am hard working, compassionate, honest and dependable.
I adore this profession; supporting, caring, nurturing and giving a child experiences and opportunities to flourish, thrive and grow is something I hold very close to my heart.
I love the outdoors, travel, sports and animals, with two of my main hobbies being running and sea swimming.
I am currently nannying for two amazing families part time. I have previously worked as an early years educator working at a forest school nursery working with children aged 9 months to 5 years.
Prior to this I have a teaching background and worked as a Physical Education teacher for 5 years teaching and working with ages 11-18.
I have worked with children the majority of my life through many different capacities (see below).
My Experience
Current: Nannying part time for two amazing families.
Previous:
1. Early Years Educator at a forest school nursery following the Reggio approach.
2. Five years as a qualified teacher, PE as my main subject with geography as my second subject.
3. Nanny and Au Pair (New Zealand)- G (3) B (5) G (7). I lived in and spend four months nannying and working with a beautiful family. Also worked in school supporting the eldest (non verbal- autistic).
4. International School Switzerland- two months spent living in as an activities leader and house parent to ages 9-12.
5. Red Pine Camp (Wisconsin, USA)- summer spent teaching swimming and lifeguarding in the camps beautiful lake. I was also living in as a camp counsellor in a cabin of 12, 7-8 years olds.
6. Over the years I have coached a number of sports including gymnastics, hockey and athletics, coaching children and athletes ranging from 3-16.
My Qualifications
- BA (hons) PE and Sports Coaching degree
- PE Secondary Qualified Teacher Status
- Paediatric First Aid trained (awarded on 22.06.24)
- Level 2 award in First Aid for Mental Health
- Coaching awards in gymnastics, hockey, athletics and swimming.
