Hi there!
My names Grace, and I’m a young person with a flourishing interest in childcare. Looking after my family and friends younger children, I have spent days and nights entertaining and looking after children of an abundance of ages. After working overseas as a camp councillor spending my summer taking care of 7 girls under one roof, I’ve been looking forward to bringing and transferring my experience to home.
I am an artist, so the importance of creative play is massive to me, and I enjoy allowing children to express themselves artistically in whatever way they see fit.
I have a bubbly personality and I am a dedicated worker- having worked the past four years in hospitality, I am ready to step out and dedicate my full attention to childcare.
My Experience
I have experience with children between 18 months to 16 years, including feeding, bathing and entertaining. I have experience taking children out of the house also so I am not limited to in-house care.
I was a camp counsellor to 7 girls under one roof which totally exceeded my expectations and taught me everything I know! I also was an art instructor for groups of girls aged 6-18.
My experience in hospitality and the food industry has also given me the knowledge of healthy food and snacks to provide you and your children with. (I am also a highly trained barista and make a lovely coffee!)
My Qualifications
I have a full UK drivers license and an advanced DBS check. I also have references from my camp counselling overseas.
My Availability
I work part time shifts during the week (Monday-Friday) but the latest I work is 4pm, and I usually finish at 2pm. On my days off I’m fully flexible with open hours.
