Hi, I am Amanda,
I live in Bletchley, having moved here in 2007 with my husband, who has also undergone DBS checking, and also my assistant.
My Experience
I was registered in June 2022.
I did some babysitting for my nieces and nephews and enjoyed watching them develop as they engaged in educational activities which they thought were only fun games.
I hope that I can grow and learn as a childminder alongside your child

Pediatric first aid, Food Hygiene, DBS, Early years Training and also continuously training to keep up to date.

My daughter was with Amanda and Keith for around 2 years. She has come on leaps and bounds since going and it genuinely is like a second home for her. Amanda has an amazing routine for all the children where they eat, sleep, learn and play in a loving and supportive environment. Amanda and Keith are so patient with the children and are really knowledgeable about child development which was really helpful for me when I had questions about certain things like potty training and all the other confusing parts of being a parent! I am absolutely gutted that my daughter is now moving on and will miss knowing how safe and happy my daughter is with Amanda and Keith. They are people who really care about the kids in their home and do such lovely things such as make an effort on their birthdays and special occasions. And their toy shed is on another level! The kids definitely never get bored with the amount of resources they have! Couldnt ask for a better childminder.

My son was first to start with Amanda in August 2022, following him being at nursery where he would cry even when I was just pulling into the car park, he wouldn’t eat or sleep there as it was so cold there too! At Amanda’s he’s always excited to go, he always eats everything, sleeps, and loves playing with his friends! My daughter now goes there too. Amanda’s house is perfect setting for the kids, very homely, clean, tidy, warm, and has lots of toys! Amanda always sends us updates via the app and sends photos of what the kids were up to. We couldn’t be happier and are very greatful taking such great care of our kids!

From the moment I met Amanda and Keith they were so warm and welcoming! I feel like I’m leaving my son with family members, not a childminder as they genuinely care so much about the children. The setting is amazing with so many fun and educational toys as well as an all weather outside area which my son loves! Amanda keeps me updated throughout the day with photos and information on food, nappies etc. on the app which is really easy to use.
I couldn’t have wished for a better childminder for my son.

Thank you for your brilliant review.
I was worried about finding a childminder as we had a bad experience with the first one we went with but I didn't have to worry at all! Amanda is absolutely amazing. She has been so patient with my nearly 2 year old, helped her get into a good routine and has more toys and activities than you could ever want. At the previous childminders our daughter used to cry all day. At Amanda's House she never wants to come home and walks off as soon as I drop her off at the door. Amanda's husband is also super lovely and great with the kids. She does a range of activities with the kids and is super knowledgeable about how they learn and progress. She teaches me things! Genuinly couldn't ask for anyone better!

Thank you for my brilliant review.
Although Amanda was lovely and her house fully equipped with toys, activities and fun spaces, my wife and I were a little apprehensive at first as Amanda was new to Childminding.
Needless to say, now 2 months in, we are so glad we opted for Amanda. She's fun, enthusiastic and our 15 month old has shown real progression during his time with her. She does regular activities, lessons, monitors progress and reports everything (with photos) regularly.
She's now even assisting us with potty training which is so much help!!!
We couldn't recommend her highly enough and couldn't possibly ask for better!!!
