About Me
Hello! My name is Helen and I am passionate about play and learning outdoors and have lots of ideas to spark children’s imaginations and interests.
I am very enthusiastic about promoting speech and language development and fostering this fundamental area through engagement with music, stories and baby sign.
I have 2 little adventurers of my own (3 and 7) and we have a wonderful chocolate Labrador who shares our home with us.
My Experience
I’ve been working in Early Years for 16 years. I have worked in 2 nurseries, as a regional Quality and SEND support and as a member of an academic and research team for a childcare company.
I have been working as a childminder since Spring 2023 and absolutely love the freedom and exciting adventures we get to experience as the children in grow, develop and thrive!
I provide my families with daily updates and photos through a secure app (Tapestry) and share observations and developmental assessments when appropriate.

HND in Advanced Practice in Work With Children and Families
Level 3 Early Years SENCO
BSc (hons) Psychology
Level 2 Food Hygiene
Designated Safeguarding Lead
Ongoing continuous professional development through the local authority/ Hampshire children's safeguarding board and my personal favourite Hygge in the Early Years training.
