About Me
Hello, my name is Laura and I am a fully qualified, Ofsted registered Childminder and Babysitter. I am 40 years old and live with my husband and our son who is 12 years old and we have a friendly cat and dog. I have a large back garden where children can enjoy playing with outdoor toys and plenty of indoor space to enable your child to explore, discover new things and ultimately learn through play. Play will be at the centre of your child’s learning and development and I offer a wide range of activities and experiences which are age appropriate to the age and stage of development of your child. These include, arts and craft, baking, dressing up, reading stories, dancing, singing and lots more! I live within walking distance of East Park and a local bus route to enable me to take the children further afield on day trips. I have a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and I have my own curriculum to support your child in becoming school ready. Alongside my Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education, I also have taken a Safeguarding Children course with Hull City Council. I also have a Paediatric First Aid qualification, full childcare insurance, I’m registered with the ICO for data protection purposes as well as having a Level 2 in Food Hygiene.
My Experience
I have a son who 12 years old, so I have first hand experience of raising a child. I also have 2 years of full time work experience at another childminders as part of my Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Price List:
School Places:
7.15am until 9am - £10
3pm until 5pm - £10
Half days £20 for 4 hours
Full days £30 for 8 hours
Full time places, Monday to Friday: £140 per week – 8 hours a day
Additional hours are charged at £4 per hour
Ad hoc evening and weekend services are available at £10 per hour
I also take funded 2, 3 and 4-year-old children

Laura has done nothing but treat my kid like her own..She is very kind and she does lots of fun activities to keep the kids busy…Her place is neat, safe and very conducive for kids no matter how young…Laura is simple amazing😍🥰
