About Me
I am living in the Reading area currently training for a psychology profession alongside working within the mental health sector. I am an enthusiastic and friendly individual who is always punctual and reliable. I am able to learn new skills at a fast pace and utilise existing skills to a high standard. I have been around young children for most of my life and have experience in caring for children in many capacities both personal and professional.
My Experience
I have previously worked with children and young people as part of a university placement and have experience of carrying out children activities and, at times handing challenging behaviour. I have been DBS checked and hold certification of this. Further to this, I regularly babysit for family friends younger children as well as doing some childcare previously when living in West London babysitting for local families. I really enjoyed this experience and would love to utilise my skills learnt from this again. I have experience in caring for children ages 2-14 and duties involved cooking meals, taking them to activities, carrying out fun activities and supervising bed time routines.
My Qualifications
I have GCSE qualifications (3 x A*, 5 x A and 5 x C grades) and A-levels (A*, A*, C). I also hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (2:1) and am currently undertaking my Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner qualification.
