Hi, my name is Isabel, I’m a 24 year old psychotherapist with experience in adult and child social care. have considerable experience working with children with autism, special needs moo and mental health needs. I also have ADHD so have personal experience of neurodiversity.
My Experience
In terms of childcare, I have worked in a number of settings. I have considerable experience working with young people and adults with autism and other special needs. For example, I worked three summers at a summer camp with young people and adults with developmental/ intellectual disabilities. I also was the sensory activity lead.
The last year I worked as a Therapeutic Intervention Worker assessing and offering therapy to young people and children impacted by violence. I also worked at a nursery for a few months.
I am a warm, friendly person who loves working in therapy, mental health based and care settings.
My Qualifications
GCSEs, A-levels, BA Sociology (2:1) an a MA in Counselling (grade awarded in Nov/ Dec). I have safeguarding, care-based and mental health training.
