About Me
I am a recently graded Outstanding Ofsted registered childminder, who is based on Trentham Street in Southfields - I have been childminding on the Southfields/Wimbledon Park Grid for 17 years now. My husband and I are originally from South Africa and we have two teenage sons - born April 2007 and March 2009.
The children and I spend a lot of time out and about visiting local parks and playgrounds and attending our EYFS Childminder's Play Group which is run and managed by us and around which a big part of my Curriculum is based. Activities at home are planned according to the children's interests and developmental stage and their progress is carefully monitored.
My aim is to offer a professional and reliable service to parents and a stimulating, fun and loving environment for children in which they can thrive!
My Experience
I have been Childminding since December 2007 and have cared for children between the ages of 5 months and 4 years during that time, although I tend cater for children aged between 9 months and 3 years now . Prior to becoming a Childminder I worked largely in the financial sector within the Human Resources and Marketing departments.
I achieved an "Outstanding" grade at my last Ofsted inspection in July 2024.

My Availability
As I will have a whole new intake of children from January 2025 I am not expecting any spaces to become available for quite some time but do contact me to join my waiting list in case anything changes.
Please note that I unfortunately do not offer nursery drop offs/pick ups, half days or term time only care.

My Fees
- Childminding from £11.00 per hour
£90 per day, 8am to 6pm, which includes meals and snacks, nappies, wipes and outings.
I accept Government funding for places and am also registered with HMRC for the tax free childcare scheme.
My Local Schools
This childminder has not yet informed us whether or not they provide any drop off or pick up services at local schools.
